Kenny McFadden invited Gavin (and subsequently the clinic) to be the medical services provider to the Academy. This relationship has been solidified over six seasons, with annual tours to Las Vegas a highlight, along with continued support for alumni playing worldwide.

The NZBA is New Zealand’s premier basketball training provider, having sent over 40 students to the United States of America on scholarship. Founded by New Zealand basketball legend Kenny McFadden in 2011, the NZBA set out to create a pathway for New Zealand basketball players from primary school through to university with a focus on developing a student-athlete culture. We now offer training services for 5-18 year old's and work with players who are both new to the game and are looking to develop their skills, or play at representative levels and have professional aspirations.
